Opa Cupa
Opa Cupa is an urgent call
to dance-unnecessary, because staying still is impossible. Their latest album
"Hotel Albania" presents all the styles this band has played up to
now.
With their roots in southern Italy (Salento), the band has clearly focused on the Balkans. On the new tracks they flirt with Balkan traditions, which still remain clearly audible, even while enhanced by traditional Italian and African sounds. Once again this mingling of styles results in extremely danceable music.
